Tales of the Eleven Point River
By Kip
I thought it was a fun trip, up until the part where Fred and I gaunched (ed. tipped over). That part was a little scary because I had no clue what to do. On our way up Mr. Boerners car broke down. That was a boring two hours. Then on our way to our first campsite three people got sick, Drew threw up, Kevin burped and was fine, and Tom got out the van and laid on the cement and he was better. Then we couldnt find the campsite and everybody was complaining that they were tired.
Then the next morning it started raining so we werent able to canoe until the afternoon. Then that night we had BBQ steak and chicken. The next day we set out on our canoeing journey and that day the Boerners canoe gaunched. We slept at a float camp that night and Fred and Tom decided it was a good time to fish. Tom caught two Bluegills and that was it. The next day Fred and I gaunched and I ended up losing my hat. We ate dinner in the parking lot where we ended our trip. We slept at the campsites in Riverton, but thats all that Riverton is besides the canoeing outfitters. Then we came home the next day.
